When you add and take away everything there is in weight loss , everything anyone has ever told you about losing weight, it all comes down to one thing: changing your lifestyle.

You see, changing your lifestyle is so important for your weight loss, not because you will only lose weight, but because you wont get your lbs back again. Diets don`t work. They never have. Diets are only a temporal weight loss experience. In fact, diets can have a bad psychological impact on your weight loss experience. How, you ask ?

Well, let`s suppose for a moment that you`ve been on some kind of a diet. It worked for you, but, suddenly, since you`re not on the diet anymore, you start gaining weight again. You feel crushed and bad. You start losing faith in your overall weight loss. This is a common scenario.

That`s why renewing your lifestyle is a crucial part of your weight loss, and your health as well. Those little, everyday things make a huge difference.

Let`s take one example of a guy who changed just one of his habits and lost 20 lbs in 2 and a half months:

This guy was eating alot of candies and sweets. One day, he decided to eat an apple instead of the sweet. However, after eating it, he still felt hungry. He could have easily taken the sweet, but he didn`t. Instead, he took another apple. He still felt hungry, but didn`t take the sweet. Now, instead of an apple, he took an orange.

By using this simple technique he not only threw away the candies and lost weight, he also became alot healthier.

And that`s the whole point of losing weight: changing your lifestyle. It won`t be easy in the beginning, but hey, don`t believe when gurus tell that you can lose 5 lbs by eating a pill. You will however lose weight steadily as well as improve your health.

    I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

    Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

    First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

    This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

    However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full.     Weight loss supplements are worthless. A proper weight loss program (exercise + changes in diet) will give you lasting results that are better and cheaper than any bottle of pills. The most basic tenant of weight loss is that your calories in must be less than your calories out. If you are running a calorie deficit, you will lose weight.

    You can’t, however, starve yourself for an effective diet. Use a website like fitday.com and figure out your base caloric intake. You do this by keeping track of your weight and the number of calories you consume for several weeks. When your weight ceases to fluctuate, you’ll know what your base caloric intake needs are.

    Once you’ve determined that, you should begin some sort of aerobic activity. Run, lift weights, do something! The increased activity will increase your calorie needs. If you don’t increase the number of calories you consume, however, you will begin to lose weight!

    In general, losing 1 – 2 lbs a week is considered a safe and sustainable amount of weight to lose.

    While working out every morning, you will be burning excess fat as when you put on muscle, it aids in the fat burning process.

    To realistically expect to lose 2 lbs a week, you must eat less than you burn without any exercise. This is your basal metabolic rate and a quick google can find that out for you.

    This can all be done without having to use supplements.
